Terrariums are super in right now

November 23rd, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

Urban gardening. Tis fun to make terrariums. And easy! Just add stones, charcoal, soil, plants, and moss to a cute little glass container. Then you could decorate it with mushrooms and give your little gnome buddy a nice home.

i made my decorations form super sculpy and then painted them with acrylic and a layer of gloss varnish

It’s the Great Pumpkin

No it’s Bill Murray as Bob Harris, the face of Suntory whiskey. For relaxing times; Suntory time.

Wanna know how to carve a pretty design on a pumpkin? See how at Design Sponge. Wish you had Bill Murray in your own home? Well now you can! Just print him out and assemble. Download the file from Cubeecraft. He’s the best worst father figure ever!

Pulp Fiction

October 21st, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

is a pretty awesome movie. This one time, I watched Pulp Fiction with my dad. I had a tongue ring at the time and didn’t tell him about it. When we saw that part of the movie about the wife of the drug dealer where she talks about why she got a tongue ring, my dad asked me the same thing. He asked why people in general would get their tongue pierced but was really talking about why I did. I evaded the question by smiling and turning my attention to the movie. Soon he fell asleep and we never talked about it again. This other time we watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith and my dad fell asleep during that movie too. He does that often. But I find it difficult to sleep during a movie like Pulp Fiction. So instead of sleeping, I made a little flash banner with sound from the movie. (click the flashing button)

Tomato jokes are fun. But Samuel L Jackson is my favorite. I could watch him eat a kahuna burger all day.

JT started a war

September 12th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

JT Steiny has a show, called ‘Noisy’, up in New Puppy Gallery. The closing is Sept. 25th at 8pm. These were from the opening…

JT is always drawing stuff and this is only a portion of his collection of sketchbooks. Hours of fun to look through. Lots of good advice.

JT and Bob Dob and Nathan Ota were my mentors at art school. They are the awesomest. But JT is my favorite. I hope he never dies. Or is that mean to wish someone a thousand lifetimes on this finite earth? Ok nvm. I’ll just make a bag with one of his drawings on it and wear it everywhere I go.

Fun with Yarn

August 2nd, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

I crocheted this heart with yarn that I made from my yorkie’s hair. I wanted to wait until I had enough to make a hat or a sweater but oh well. Thank you youtube viedos for teaching me how.

I didn’t have a drop spindle so I just twisted the hairs between my palms.

Aside from hearts, I can crochet green dinosaurs with pink spikes.

Meet Benjamin

December 24th, 2009 § 1 comment § permalink

Ben is a bear. But he looks like a human. That’s because he is wearing a human’s skin. See, he didn’t like his life in the woods so Ben went into the city in pursuit of happiness. Much to his despair, all the humans there didn’t like him and wanted him to leave town. But instead of leaving, Ben snuck into someone’s house and killed a human with a knife, psycho style. Then he skinned the dead body and made it into a suit that Ben now wears to fit in with the rest of the humans. He was different but now he’s just like everyone else.
